Give her a rose

Of crimson red

That brings a blush to her cheeks.

Bake him a cake

With such fondness,

Of which his eye so often speaks.

Cuddle her close,

Give her a kiss,

Whisper something sweet.

Hold his hand,

Lean against him,

Listen to his heartbeat.

Write him a note

Straight from your heart

Tell him what you feel.

Sit her down,

On a cosy chair,

Cook her a lovely meal.

Send him a picture

Of your pretty self,

Show him how happy you are.

Take her out on

A beautiful night,

Show her a shining star.

Flowers do wilt,

Papers do crumble,

Gifts vanish in evil summary.

Though when they go,

They leave behind

A lovely little memory.

Watch, as warmth

Steers itself in,

The season is of love.

And for the smile

Upon that face,

The reason is your love.
